File recovery for Windows
Get your files back without making the drive worse.
Neural Rescue copies the drive first, works only on the copy and shows what can be saved before you pay.
Coming soon. Leave your email and we will let you know at launch.
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. For the copy, free space on a second drive as large as the drive being rescued.
First things first
Lost files? First, don't make it worse.
What you do in the first few minutes matters more than any software. Three precautions that apply to any drive:
Stop using the drive
Every new file written can take the place of a file you want back. Unplug the drive or, if it holds the system, shut the computer down.
Don't format it
When Windows asks you to format, click Cancel. Formatting wipes the index that helps find your files.
Don't run CHKDSK
CHKDSK "fixes" the drive by writing to it and can permanently remove damaged folders. Make a copy first; repairs come later.
How it works
Seven steps, always in view
The app walks you through it. The trail stays at the top of the screen, and each step explains what is happening and why.
1.Drive
Pick the right drive. Unplug it and plug it back in, and the app highlights it.
2.Health
A quick test shows whether the drive is fine or shows signs of physical failure.
3.Copy
The app makes a full copy of the drive (an image), reading bad areas carefully.
4.Scan
The search for files runs only on the copy. The original drive stays untouched.
5.Files
Preview each file and its condition: Intact, Partial, Damaged or No preview.
6.Save
Choose what you want back and save it to another drive. Never to the drive being rescued.
7.Report
Everything that was done is recorded in a report, for you or for your client.
Why Neural Rescue
Built not to make a struggling drive worse
Copy first, always
The app never writes to the drive being rescued. It makes an image of the drive and works on it, so a dying drive is not pushed further.
Honest about physical failure
If the drive shows signs of physical failure, the app warns you in red, explains the risk and shows a recovery lab as the first option.
Clear from start to finish
Every screen has three layers: what is happening, "Why this?" and "Technical details" for those who want more.
Finds the right drive by gesture
Unplug it and plug it back in: the app highlights it. The source drive is marked and blocked as a destination.
See before you pay
Diagnosis, copy and full preview are free. Each file shows whether it is Intact, Partial, Damaged or has No preview.
Picks up where it left off
A disconnection, a power cut or a full disk becomes a pause. When you return, the app continues from the same point.
A report for every rescue
Every step is recorded. On the Technician plan, the report comes as a PDF with your shop's brand.
Live drive map
Follow the copy sector by sector, with colors and patterns that also work for people with color blindness.
See before you pay
Every file found shows a preview and an integrity badge.
When a lab is the right call
Some drives need a lab, not software
No software fixes a broken part. If the drive has a physical fault, keeping it running can destroy what can still be saved. In those cases, the best choice is a data recovery lab.
Signs of physical failure
- Clicking, grinding or beeping noises
- It doesn't spin, or spins and stops
- It doesn't show up on the computer, not even in Disk Management
- It was dropped, got wet or overheated
- It becomes very slow and freezes when opening folders
Lab prices vary a lot with the fault. Ask for a quote before authorizing the service.
What Neural Rescue does in these cases
- 1Warns you in red
The health test shows the problem in plain language and explains the risk of carrying on.
- 2Shows the lab first
The first option on the screen is to look for a lab. Carrying on yourself is your choice, never the default.
- 3Fragile drive mode, with your consent
If you decide to go ahead, the app reads the structure first, skips bad areas and pauses to let the drive rest.

Being honest about the limits
- SSD with TRIM

- iPhone
- Not supported. Apple's system does not allow this kind of access.
- Mac
- Windows only, for now.
- Drive that doesn't spin or show up
- That's a job for a lab. The app tells you when it notices this.

Born from a real rescue
First came the drive, then the app
Neural System built the tools behind Neural Rescue to rescue a real external hard drive. It had bad sectors and a damaged NTFS control area, and Windows could no longer open anything.
Instead of risking the drive, the first step was to copy everything that could be read, slowly, skipping the bad areas. The search for files ran only on the copy.
More than 25,000 files came back, without writing anything to the original drive. Neural Rescue is that same care, turned into a step-by-step anyone can follow.

Got your files back, but some won't open?
Neural Repair fixes damaged documents, spreadsheets, photos and videos, always on a copy. They complement each other: Rescue gets the files off the drive and Repair fixes the ones that came out damaged.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe? Can the app make my drive worse?
Neural Rescue never writes to the drive being rescued. It makes a full copy and works only on it. If the drive shows signs of physical failure, the app warns you first and recommends a lab, because any reading can wear out a damaged drive.
Can I see the files before I pay?
Yes. Diagnosis, copy and the preview of every file are free, and you can save up to 500 MB without paying. You only pay if you want to save more.
My drive is making noises. What now?
Turn the drive off and don't insist. Clicking or grinding usually means a physical fault, and the safest path is a data recovery lab. If you still decide to try, the app has a fragile drive mode that reads with pauses and skips bad areas, but only after explaining the risk.
Does it work on Mac, iPhone or phones?
The app runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). It reads drives, USB drives and cards that came from a Mac or a camera, as long as they use NTFS (FAT32 and exFAT, common on USB drives and cards, are coming soon). iPhone is not supported. Android phones over the cable are planned for after launch.
What's the difference between the monthly and lifetime plans?
Monthly is for a one-off rescue: you save everything and cancel whenever you want. Annual is worth it if you want the app at hand all year. Lifetime is a one-time payment and never expires.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time, through the customer portal, without talking to anyone. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid period. And you can cancel within 7 days for a full refund.
Do I need internet?
Only to activate the license. Diagnosis, copy, scan and saving work offline.
Are my files sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your computer. No file, file name or preview ever leaves your machine.
Your files may be just one copy away
